Western Australian Athletic Commission (ATHLETICA)

Triathlon WA is a member of the Athletics Federation of WA, which includes organisations such as AthleticA, Little Athletics, Masters and Wheelchair Sports. Being part of the Federation means that all TWA members are considered as ‘Federation club members’ and therefore may participate in other competition opportunities (track and field) without requiring membership of an affiliated athletics club. TWA members will need to complete the Athletics WA Membership Form and pay a $10 Annual Membership Fee.

All you need to do is:
· wear a white singlet to race in (and preferably white shorts as well)
· obtain a race number for the day on registration
· pay $10 for a day’s competition

Casual entry to the new Athletics Stadium is $6 (non-members), $4 (members)

A lot of the race distances are only 1.5km or 3km, which may be attractive to juniors or competitors that want some shorter competitive runs. Many of the meets are on Sunday mornings – so crosscheck with the triathlon calendar carefully to avoid clashes, but there are many midweek events as well.
